About Me

 Joe is a native Ithacan with extensive knowledge of the community and passion for the area. He comes from a long line of construction men and real estate investors dating back to the 1920s—in fact, his Uncle Vinnie Giordano built many buildings at Cornell University and Ithaca College during the 1960s and ’70s. An experienced property manager, Joe has managed nearly 500 units over the course of his career and has owned over 20 rental properties.

     Joe has been a licensed New York State sales agent and broker for over 30 years, providing professional, honest, friendly service to all. He is adept at coordinating all transactions between bankers, lawyers, and all professionals in the industry. He has owned a full-service sales agency of his own, but found that he missed interacting one on one with clients without the responsibilities of running a business. He has worked with developers and builders, assisting in every facet of the process. This has given him a keen understanding of how best to market new homes and prepare existing ones to sell for the best price.

     Joe worked in the restaurant business for many years and is a passionate chef with a love of food from all cultures (a love that is not hard to satisfy here in Ithaca!). He is a history buff with a special interest in presidential history. He is an extremely fanatical New York Yankees fan and loves the game of baseball in general. He loves experiencing the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes. Joe has been a member of both Agape Bible Church and Immaculate Conception Church, The Ithaca Rotary Club, Business Networking International and the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce.

     Most of all, Joe is a family man—a descendant of Italian immigrants with a very strong dedication to their families. Joe and his family can’t express to you enough how special it has been to live in Ithaca, and they welcome you and are sure you will find it a great place to live.
